I know I don't have to defend you. But you give a lot to people and
that really works better when you feel good about it.

When I think about systemd, Mr. Poettering tried to enforce the use of
his ecosystem. But when someone demanded to improve the software, they
were very often treated unkindly. I don't think that's sincere.

But here it's quite different: you're not enforcing anything. You build
something beautiful. You are more or less alone with this project.
You have to ask yourself every day what complexity is manageable for
you to make s6 work well.

So those are the facts and the differences.

So it's a good thing for all of us to ask: How can WE support YOU. It's
a social mechanic and I want to bring awareness to it. It should make
you happy to give us something.

No, you don't want to be treated like an alien, have a special status.
But to be supported and understood, definitely.

Thanks for everything! s6 is one of the most beautiful software
projects I know.

Best Regards
Oli
